Vitamin-C Here are the instructions how to make your own Vitamin C at home. So use only organic citruses and do not throw away the peel. YOu can dry it and grind it into powder. One spoon of the powder will give you the needed daily ammount of Vitamin C.
Organic citrus fruits have rutin, hesperidin, bioflavonoids, monoterpenes and limonene essential oils in their pulp and peel. Cut the peels into thin strips; lay out on cheesecloth with none of the peels touching each other. In a couple of days you have your own natural vitamin C. Dehydrators work well and cut the drying time down. Putting the dried peels into a coffee grinder or Vita Mix will make a powder that can easily be added to drinks or food. Be sure to store in an airtight container. Taking one teaspoon of this powder will supply you with more Vitamin C than your body needs for the day. Organic grapefruit, tangerines, oranges, lemons and limes can all be used.
