Image Here is some general info about Acupressure, where you can learn more about what Acupresure can do, how you can use it, what ailments does it cure. Acupressure is an ancient healing art that uses the fingers to press key points on the surface of the skin to stimulate the body's natural self-curative abilities. When these points are pressed, they release muscular tension and promote the circulation of blood and the body's life force to aid healing. Acupuncture and acupressure use the same points, but acupuncture employs needles, while acupressure uses the gentle but firm pressure of hands (and even feet). There is a massive amount of scientific data that demonstrates why and how acupuncture is effective. But acupressure, the older of the two traditions, was neglected after the Chinese developed more technological methods for stimulating points with needles and electricity.

Stress Hormones And Cancer GrowthScientists have found the connection between  hormones produced during periods of stress and cancer may be serious. The study showed that an increase in norepinephrine, a stress hormone, can stimulate tumor cells. The research also suggests the same hormone can also stimulate the tumor cells to release another compound that can aid in the growth of new blood vessels that feed cancer cells, hastening the growth and spread of the disease. Trauma Linked To Chronic Fatigue SyndromeTraumas from childhood may be associated with the development of chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). The research shows that CFS and similar illnesses may result from the brain's inability to cope with challenging experiences. Chronic fatigue syndrome affects between 400,000 and 900,000 U.S. adults.
